We are working to promote welfare of the community through sustainable social economic development; we work in the sector of livelihood, health and education to have a living hope for our community and emphasis of development integration to refugees and host communities. 

 MISSION

 Empower refugees through poverty alleviating projects like improving sanitation and hygiene, agriculture spearheading, establishment of climate change adaptation, environment conversation, advocacy, health and self-reliance among the refugees and local communities. To uplift the standard of living of SOMALI BANTU people and their families, through soliciting funds, regular savings and byway of undertaking investment and development opportunities at both individual and group level.

To advocate for the rights, equal opportunities, participation and recognition of the SOMALI BANTU community orphans, vulnerable children, single mothers and elderly in all development programs within the community. To integrate the concerns of the community’s cultural into the development programs of the government and implementing partners at all levels without neglecting healthy issues among the SOMALI BANTU and community in the settlement. To support in planning and implementation of innovative programs / activities that proactively responds to poverty, emergencies and cultural as they affect education in their respected places of living To work closely hand in hand with other refugees communities in development aspect To create job opportunities for vulnerable youth and single mothers To establish and promote health household based activities through the community initiatives To develop the resource given in the lands, building and right for the time of our return to our mother land To accept in kind of donation from other interested persons, government or organizations or service providers to SMALI BANTU. To create innovative and practical approaches of achieving gender parity and equity among the refugees To initiate and facilitate actions and interventions that promote skills acquisition for refugees through practical learning and reducing illiteracy in the refugees camp To raise awareness of diseases in the community and educate the community on how to handle and care for the affected people To focus on research based development for our community
